Four reasons to stay at the Atlantic Sojourn Bed & Breakfast

Centrally Located

1Save vacation time by not moving every night and use our comfortable home as your base to explore Southwest Nova Scotia.  Check out “South Shore Itineraries” (in menu) for day-trip suggestions to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Bay of Fundy, Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, or Yarmouth. Guests consistently tell us:  “I didn’t know there was so much to do here.”

Innkeepers

2For eight seasons we have enjoyed visiting with guests from around the world.  Our knowledge of the Maritimes gives us the opportunity to recommend restaurants, shops, museums, beaches, activities, music, birding, photographic sites, drives, and accommodations here and elsewhere in. Our guests tell us: “We have thought of everything for their comfort.”

Our B&B

3With off-street parking and a ten-minute walk to Old Town Lunenburg, our B&B offers gracious hospitality and a respite from the stresses of travel.  Relax by the pond in our garden, and enjoy 24-hour coffee, tea, and cookies.  Choose breakfast from our varied menu.  To help Mother Nature, we have also instituted many initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint.

World UNESCO District

4Old Town Lunenburg was first designated as a National Historic District by the Federal government in 1992, a fitting honor recognizing the rich heritage of the Town. In 1995, an even greater honor was bestowed upon Lunenburg when “Old Town” Lunenburg was added to the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage List.
